Matrusri Anglo Vedic School (MAV School)

Matrusri Anglo Vedic School was established in the year 1973. It enjoys being the second oldest ICSE School in the city. It is affiliated to the Council for Indian Secondary School Examination (ICSE), New Delhi since the year 1983. The school began with a meagre strength of 30 students and only 3 teachers and with a noble aim of making the middle class and the underprivileged have an access to quality English medium education. With the conducive co-operation of dedicated Staff, supportive Parents and the Managing Committee's goodwill, the school enjoys it's eminence as one of the most sought institutions of Berhampur city.

Decade after decade, the school has hold onto it's tradition of passing on the legacy of quality education and ideal values to all its students. Today, the school has a whopping 900+ strength, under the mentorship of 60 highly qualified consecrated teaching and non-teaching staff giving their best to the growth of this unique institution. The school has set a benchmark being a premier English medium school in the city with tremendous growth and achievements since its day of establishment. It is known for its seamless and ever-evolving innovative endeavors in order to unleash the optimum potential of it's students. The school imparts education in English medium following the curriculum of ICSE New Delhi. Our efforts are aimed at providing committed contributions in the field of education both academically and non-academically. It nurtures the students to excel in their academic sphere as well as in overall progressive and holistic learning career with personality grooming and leadership qualities for future goals. The school has a well-equipped Science Laboratory, A sophisticated Library with a wide collection of books from almost all the genres and Hi-tech Computer Lab. Every year the school bags excellent results in the ICSE Board.
